Services and amenities

Shop and souvenirs. The shop offers a selection of games, toys and souvenirs. It’s accessible to the non-visitors of the museum, during the opening hours of the Toy Museum. 


Changing rooms and deposits

  • Lockers: Lockers with a 1€ deposit are available in the entrance hall.
  • Groups changing rooms: Available on request for free.

Museum comfort

Air conditioning: The Toy Museum is air-conditioned. The temperature may seem cool in summer, for the proper preservation of the exposed objects.

Parking lot and mobility

  • Free parking lot for visitors: A free, shaded parking lot for visitors is available with parking spaces for disabled people. It is not guarded, don’t leave any valuable item on sight or any animals in the vehicle. The management declines all responsibility for any damage that may be caused on vehicles.
  • Alternatives parking lots: In case of overcrowding, free parking lots are available near the city hall and city school.
  • Motorhome parking lots: Free parking is allowed at the Champ de foire parking lot for motorhomes day and/or night, 8 minutes away on foot from the museum, 5 minutes away from shops, quietly. 
  • Electric charging stations: 2 electric charging stations are available on the Champ de foire parking lot, 8 minutes away on foot from the museum.

Welcome and comfort of the families

  • Children and families: The Toy Museum is known for its quality welcome of children and families. It has obtained the labels Kids Friendly (Kidyfriends) and Musée Joyeux (Mom’art), which distinguish cultural establishments attentive to the needs of young people.
  • Baby area: A changing table is available in women’s restroom in the entrance hall, so that you can change your baby peacefully. Meals can be reheated with a microwave on request at the reception.
  • Troubleshooting kit for parents: The Toy Museum provides you diapers, wipes and cotton for free in case of small problem, on request at the reception.
  • Strollers and wheelchairs: Strollers and wheelchairs are available for a loan for free on request at the reception.
  • Lost child: If your child is lost, immediately report their missing to our reception staff, by specifying their age, physical description and the place where you last saw them. Lost children are taken to the museum reception. Please be careful no to leave children under 12 years old alone. Minors under 16 years old are not allowed in the museum alone.
  • Duration of the visit: The average duration of a visit is estimated at 2 hours.

Restrooms and hygiene

Toilets: Toilets are available in the hall and on the 1st floor, with access for people with disabilities. Tap water is drinkable.

Catering and breaks

Exterior picnic areas are available around the museum. 

Playground: Free outdoor games; interior games accessible with the entrance ticket to the Toy Museum.
