Everyone has its own hero!

Course of the exhibition
The exposition presented the fictional heroes who accompany childhood and then survive in our adults memories since the dawn of time.

Way more than a historical retrospective, or a portrait gallery, “Everyone has its own hero” explored the great historical figures of the imagination in all their diversity. More than 150 heroes were gathered to testify to the place they occupy in our current and past societies as well as in our individual construction.

The exhibition was divided into six sections each adopting a different perspective. The course opened with the birthplaces of the hero and then focused on their families. An important section was devoted to the hero’s evolution, from antiquity to modern days. It highlighted the major events that influenced heroic manufacturing. The visitor could then discover that hero’s stories often follow an identical storyline. Would there be hero recipes? The waiting room of a psychologist specialized in heroes presented the role played by these on the individual development. In its office, an audio device allowed to access the profiles of 3 heroes, who had gone on the therapist couch. As a conclusion, the last part focused on the marketing role in the current profusion of heroes declined in various objects.
