The team of the Toy Museum

Mélanie BESSARD

Mélanie BESSARD, director and curator, ensures the proper overall functioning of the museum and coordinates all its activities.

Guarantor of the integrity and transmission of the collections, she supervises their inventory, their study, their conservation and their enhancement. 

She defines the programming of the exhibitions and develops partnerships with other museums and cultural institutions in order to enrich the offer and strengthen the outreach of the museum.

Sylvie LEFEBVRE, Amandine PERROT and Elise GASSE

Sylvie LEFEBVRE, Amandine PERROT and Elise GASSE, reception staff, welcome you with a smile as soon as you arrive, at the ticket office as well as the museum shop.

At your disposal, they accompany you in your visit and advise you according to your desires.

They also offer you an original selection of games and toys, showcasing local creations and Jura know-how.

Marianne WEISSENBACHER, Marion FARINETTI and Alexandra VAUZELLE

Marianne WEISSENBACHER, Marion FARINETTI and Alexandra VAUZELLE, cultural mediators, organize and animate creative, educational and playful workshops, for children and their families. 

They guide with a good mood the visitors through collections. They are the privileged interlocutors of the teachers and recreation centers whom they assist in preparing and organizing their visit to the museum.

Mickaël ROZE

Mickaël ROZE, communications officer, ensures the management, conservation and highlight of the documentary resources of the Toy Museum. He accompanies researchers, students and professionals in their works, enriches and organizes the documentarians’ funds, and participates to the diffusion of the knowledge about the history of toys and the playful practices. He also contributes to the production of scientific contents, documentary monitoring and support to exhibition and mediation projects.

Pauline LUCOT

Pauline LUCOT, conservation assistant, inventories and verifies each toy in the collection electronically. She photographs them, checks existing information and the condition of the toys, and conditions them for the sake of spreading knowledge.  

Chloé FARINETTI

Chloé FARINETTI, in charge of the communication within Terre d’Emeraude Communauté, coordinates all the actions intended to promote the museum, its collections, and its events to the publics. She conceives and implements the communications strategy on printed and digital supports. In close cooperation with the cultural team, she seeks to make the museum visible, attractive and accessible to all.
